Dr. Georgia McClemons, Managing Veterinarian
Dr. Georgia McClemons is a San Diego native. After graduating from San Diego State Summa Cum Laude in 1987, Dr. McClemons graduated from the prestigious U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. Her skills and determination secured her one of the highly sought after American Heart Association summer internship at the San Diego Zoo in 1985.
Dr. Lynette Henderson, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Lynette Henderson bought the Telegraph Canyon Animal Medical Center in 2001 after being the managing veterinarian of the hospital for three years. Dr. Henderson is a 1995 graduate of the prestigious U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She believes in empowering pet owners with the knowledge and understanding of their pet’s health so they can make the best possible choices for their four-legged family members. Her philosophy of providing the highest level of medical care to her clients has made the Telegraph Canyon Animal Medical Center one of the highly regarded and fastest growing veterinary hospitals in the region.
Dr. Alina Mier Y Terán, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Alina Mier Y Terán is a native of the San Diego/Tijuana region. After receiving her B.A. degree in Biology from the University of San Diego, she graduated from the prestigious U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997.
Max, Security Guard
Max is a Chula Vista native who first volunteered with Telegraph Canyon Animal Medical Center starting in 2011 and became a permanent team member on April 26, 2016. Attending school was unnecessary for Max as he possesses natural instincts "to protect and purr", which cannot be taught. During his work hours, Max enjoys posing as a fake stuffed animal cat sleeping on the charts at the front desk. When he is not "working" he enjoys sleeping, food, walking on desks, food, looking out the window, food, and belly rubs. Max's family consists of everyone at Telegraph Canyon AMC; he believes each staff member belongs to him! Max has been named employee of the month every month since April of 2016.
Rossana, Supervising Manager/Lead Technician
A Chula Visa native, Tina studied Child Development at Southwestern College and attended the Veterinary Assistant program at PIMA. She has been in the veterinary field for 19 years. Tina and her husband have 5 children and 4 grandchildren along with many 4-legged furry babies. When she is not at work, Tina enjoys spending time with her family, camping, barbecuing at the beach, trips to Disneyland, and motorcycle road trips.
Jonathan, Veterinary Assistant
Originally from Tijuana, Mexico, Jonathan attended PIMA and has been in the veterinary field for 5 years. Outside of work, he enjoys sports, bars & movies.
Chrissy, Veterinary Assistant
Born in Oakland, Chrissy grew up in Japan before settling in Chula Vista. She received her Veterinary Assistant certification at PIMA and attended Southwestern College for Business Administration. She has been in the veterinary industry for 5 years. Chrissy has a husband, 2 children, 4 dogs and a bunny. She enjoys fitness, going out with family & friends, photography, crafting & baking.
Linda, Veterinary Assistant
Originally from the Imperial Valley/Yuma, AZ, Linda attended PIMA and has been in the veterinary industry for 2 years. Her family includes her 3 dogs and her "lazy cat". Linda loves taking selfies & pictures of anything cute, like dogs & cats.
