Amanda Bradfield grew up in North Carolina, but has lived all over the United States, and the world, before calling San Diego home. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky with a BA in both Integrated Strategic Communications and Psychology in 2007. 

After university, she went into professional management, and even spent time as an expatriate manger in Europe for several years, allowing her to continue to grow as an adaptable and committed leader.

Amanda has always had a love of animals. While growing up in the southeast, she could be found playing with her cats, but also catching frogs, lizards, toads, turtles… and anything else too slow for her and her sister. Though she did not pursue the path of hands-on veterinarian medicine in school, her role as a Hospital Manager in veterinary medicine has been an amazing journey!  

In Amanda’s spare time she enjoys going to the beach, doing yoga, reading, watching movies, and spending time with her boyfriend, Marcus, and their two cats, Möbius (orange tabby) and Oberon (black domestic longhair).
