I grew up in upstate NY and graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Sciences. I went on to attend College of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University. I am inspired by the human animal bond. I love problem solving and learning new skills. 

 I first was introduced to the San Diego area while working with the San Diego Safari Park studying wildlife disease in tortoises during my undergrad. I knew I would someday move back to San Diego. 

I now live here with my partner, Shehnav, our dog Mrs. Puff and our cat, Paul.

Outside of work I like to travel, roller skate, hike and I am learning how to surf!
